The Miami Heat won Sunday night 98-96 in Game 2 of the NBA Finals. LeBron James carried the Heat all night long with his ferocious attacks on the rim.
“King James” led all scorers with 35 points and 10 rebounds, as the San Antonio spurs had no answer for the best player on the planet on this night. San Antonio was led by Tony parker who had 21 points and seven assists but everyone else was a non-factor.
San Antonio did have a chance to wrap this game up. But they inexplicably missed four foul shots in a row, something that might come back to haunt the Spurs as this series starts to unfold.
But Back to LeBron: He dismantled the Spurs all night.
LeBron made seven consecutive shots in the 3rd quarter showing the world what he is capable of when he is cramp free. The power player had help in Chris Bosh who nailed a dagger three from the right corner in the fourth quarter.
Bosh was a man tonight with 18 huge points and a couple of monster dunks to cap off his night. Dwayne
Wade chipped in 14 points as he cruised through this one letting LeBron do his thing.
The series now shifts to Miami for two games where the Heat is most comfortable and will be very difficult to beat at American Airlines Arena. This series is now squared at one game apiece. But LeBron and company sent a message Sunday night.
The Message: We are the defending champions! And it’s going to be tougher then you ever imagined to dethrone us!
