It comes a time when young talented basketball players start to figure it out. They put together their God-given talents and realize “this is what I was made to do.”
Andrew Wiggins just had that moment.
What the twenty year old just to the Atlanta Hawks was truly special. It wasn’t the fact that Wiggins had a rare game high of 33 points, but it was the promising way he went about it. The former number one pick in the 2014 draft gave NBA fans hope that he will fulfill the mega hype he created coming out of the University of Kansas.
All he needed was a little bit of time.
It looks like NBA players should start savoring the days this kid played with lack of confidence and or aggression. What we saw against the Hawks was a young player putting it all together. The pump fakes, the gravity defying dunks, the killer crossovers all came together on this night. Ladies and gentlemen Andrew Wiggins has arrived.
Wiggins now has a golden opportunity to prove this was no fluke Thursday night. The Minnesota Timberwolves make a rare appearance on national television facing the defending world champions the Golden State Warriors.
From what we’ve witnessed from Wiggins, the Wolves could hand the Warriors their first loss of the season. All Wiggins has to do is continue to free the Wolf
